There is no deep meaning to the skulls. Besides the obvious meaning and the value you bring to the images. The obvious being that death is the end to this life. There is no do-overs. nature feeds us, then we feed nature. We will all get our turn, without trying to be macabre. It is just a fact: we will all get our very own death. We probably have very little control over when or when it happens, usually. But it will happen. No matter what you do, it will happen. Why not make every second count? Let's do our best to make every moment we have on this place count. Spend it with the ones you love as often as possible. Don't miss an opportunity to tell your loved ones that you care for them, whether your loved ones are many or a toothless one-eyed cat. Tell them, whether they return the sentiment or not, then enjoy your life to the fullest every single day. Different cultures mark this passing in many different ways. Whatever value you place on these customs to be observed, make sure that while you live, while you can control your life, you live with as much passion as you can muster. Be sure that every day you do something that scares you a bit or are fearful of doing. Because when it's over, it's over. Death is not to be feared, so much as something inevitable, something that means nothing when you are busy living in passion, busy being in love, and always happy being at peace with you and your actions and your choices.
