BROKEN
If you are an irresponsible individual with things left in you're charge, you don't get put in charge of things. Simple. If you are an employee at a company that isn't that good with math you don't the accounting job. If you are a child that doesn't play well with others, the parents have to figure out why, and try to work with them. In the same line, If you are a political party that is exclusionary instead of inclusive, if you seem to want to divide people instead of uniting, you don't play well with others, the heads of the party need to figure out why you do the things you do, and try to address these issues. Example if you greatly dislike eating spinach, loathe it with a passion and want it gone from your dinner plate forever, you don't make legislation as head of a political system. You should probably try to figure out why you have so much emotion invested in a leafy green, instead. I'm just saying. It's a personal demon to battle (in private, while we're still afforded privacy, eh?) not one to tear apart the farming industry over. With that in mind, if as an elected leader, whether representative, legislative or executive you find it essential to let your very few friends benefit tremendously and disproportionately while a whole country is left to pick up the pieces and slug it out, you have failed. You shouldn't be voted in just because you can scream like a petulant child that has rich friends and parents that can afford to buy you the best megaphones money can buy. Buying yourself endless supply of television ads and getting record numbers for contribution funds (from the same friends that are newly rich thanks to you and unwittingly us) shouldn't mean shit if you suck at your job. And you suck at your job. You cannot be trusted to lead us into the future as you are now.
The future is here and we find ourselves (seriously?) in doubt about choosing a leadership whose rank and files is filled with member battling their personal demons on a public stage. A leadership that lies (loudly, publicly, like tantrums, with serious effort and money invested) to draw away attention from the fact that is embarrassingly obvious. They're trying to distract us from the reality that their rank us filled with members that are morally uptight like some Victorian high-collard virgins, while her fiancee is getting arrested in public restrooms for soliciting and public lewdness over and over, left and right, and want the rest of us to pretend we don't see a thing. This is a party that will lead us into the future? A party whose financial and economical future does not appear to include a middle class or any real workers for that matter. They have evolved into a party that is separatist and proud of it, except during elections. Then all bets are off and we're all the same ark and a beautiful rainbow hovers. I want to be included in the future and not just every four years, only right before November. It's a broken party, fix it, 'cause we're moving on without you. That is one party I wouldn't want to attend, gladly, and lucky for me because this is one party I'm not invited to. Except at the very end and for a very specific purpose. No thanks.
I'm not one to lament and resent what was, and hold grudges. I like to focus on solutions not problems.So seriously fix it. But remember that under your calling card is and asterisk next to the words,*leans toward lies , and *has rich friends that are exclusionary not inclusive that are morally bankrupt and arrogant, and that behavior will be suspect.
The world is growing and we want to be part of that growth. We are getting to be more and more people, we are consuming more and waste should be a big concern as well as recycling, from now on. We are starting to mix racially. The global community is now, and it is not uniform except in that essential commonality that humans have to be social and the desire to be happy and in comfort at the end of a good work day. The racial mixing part? yea...it's true, and that is for the better, seriously, believe me, it's a better selection of genes to pick from. It's all good, we'll be fine.
So let's move on ahead but don't forget the past for it holds the keys to our mistakes.

ONE SOLUTION:
Getting companies to be good entities and not faceless corporations .
Let's figure a way to have companies hire USAers again and help pay for their well being and opt for benefits if they'd be willing to pay into it, while still being economically competitive around the world. A company should grow with it's employees and not at the cost of employees. They should be mutually beneficial not without any recourse. Taxpayers shouldn't bail out banks but not have the banks help rebuild communities devastated by one thing or another, without having the government mandate something or other. A bank should see it as good public relations. One helping the other. without government mandating. A company should just want to be seen as a good company that people want to work for and would be rewarded by it's customers patronage. People wanting to shop there. That should be enough to make any company socially responsible.
For this to work, though the opposite must be true, of socially irresponsible companies.If a company is seeing it's bottom line fall because people have stopped shopping there because of it's track record with mistreatment of American workers, then the company would have no option but re-tool its policies and actions. Being economically competitive does not mean defiant of hard fought for workers rights. Let's be welcoming of companies that treat societal growth as something to benefit all. Not just one sided. It's a work in progress going both ways, and it's something that would take time, but definitely worth it. We can reward companies that take an interest in the people that help support them and also work for them. We need more responsible companies and in turn these companies should see growth in sales or at least a steadying of sales.
