So did you watch FUEL? That is a movie that I can post over and over again. It is very entertaining and educational, informative and fun to watch. It keeps your mind thinking and processing, RIGHT?. It throws so many ideas at you and so many new words, thank goodness for the graphs and diagrams because otherwise I'd be lost. It ends on such a positive note, and it pretty much lays out the direction we are going to be heading in. And that direction, it's not too far off from where many of us already were heading: recycling, the use of solar energy. It gives you a pretty good idea as to what to look forward to and solutions to work toward to solve problems. Did you know what some of those words were? mega-flora really?
I have something to admit to you guys . For a bit there towards the end of the election season, it seemed like I MIGHT lose hope in the electoral process, so much money was being spent, I mean sooo much. And one particular political party is becoming infamous and known to lie and lie blatantly and espouse their lies like memorized verses from the bible with the conviction of a penny preacher. When in reality it may just be greed speaking through an expensive megaphone. I did not loose faith and it's not because of who won the presidency. It was because even though it was way too close for my taste, it was the case of the glass half full. I was happy that so many people came out in force and with passion, were being as obnoxious as the other guys. I am so hopeful for our future. Sad that we have to behave like assholes to shut the mouths of liars with the deafening truth. I was sad but not above it. I do have hope. Not a blind happy hope, but a hope that we can get better so much better and am hopeful that many people are hopeful too. We just have to be cautious of loosing our passion and becoming once again apathetic. It's all good we'll get it done, one day at a time. WILL DO.
I'm glad that some of you guys were able to watch fuel. I know I needed to see something uplifting like that and was glad to be reminded of the fact that not everything is terrible. I swear, If you lived by what you saw on what passes for news around here, you'd never leave your house. It was educational informative and gave us all a positive look at the future and steered us away from all this global warming-tsunamis business. I know there are times when I can't think of which way is up when you get bombarded all day with developing stories and ads to stop bullying, save the tatas, this shelter that shelter, cheating and compromised leaders. Some days I just tune out. And tuning out is not good. Regardless of what you've been told by slacker friends and people who benefit by you not being aware or involved in the day machinations that happen in our neighborhoods, and cities and states. It is not okay to tune out the world for too long a time. We need to be here and work together on making shit better. We need to be present in our lives in our loved ones' lives, our kids, our brothers, sisters and anyone else that may fall behind. If I fall I hope someone is in good enough a condition to assist me, and vice versa. So no tuning out. Okay? stay here like a grown up and don't just face the future, shape the future. DO NOT TUNE OUT. A BREAK? SURE, WHY NOT, WE ALL NEED A BREAK. so...Are you ready?
Tomorrow is Tuesday already!
