    Man was I drunk!
    Have you ever been to grand central station in Los Angeles? It is a beauty architecturally. It has a great interior with deep dark wooden benches to patiently wait on. It can take you all over the place apparently because it is a meeting place for Amtrak, Metrolink, and the Los Angeles Metro Redline and Metro Goldline. There is also a shuttle that can take you to LAX. From here you can travel all over California and then some. You can also just visit and people watch and get a look at a pretty cool building and pretend to travel extensively. I sometimes like to purrtend I am a very important person (not just a run of the mill Angeleno) running late for a photo-shoot. It's a ploy I borrow from some lady who was complaining about the lines at a store I worked at, and preferred to not wait like everybody else. She was a bit of a mess yet, sadly, pretty common. It didn't work for her, as nobody cared if she was in front of or behind the camera. She was gonna have to wait like everybody else. It doesn't work for me either, nobody buys that I am a lady ( I have a beard), or cares that I am in a hurry. It still makes for a fun afternoon. I can get some pretty cool pictures of the whole place. As a plus, directly across the street is Placita Olvera. I can get some spicy tamarind pulp candy, a poncho, a Mexican wrestler mask or a t-shirt with iconic Mexican figures ( I know somebody's getting a Frida Kalo one for their b-day). As if this wasn't enough to entertain you, a block away from here is Chinatown. This is a perfect way to spend a day full of interaction and visual stimulation, without spending a penny if you don't want to or if you're like me cannot spend a dime 'cause you are on a budget. Either way get out of your house, and bump into people you know or meet new people. This is gonna be a good year, fellas.
