Oh oh it seems the weekend is here and costumes are being taken in for last minute fittings, final touches being applied with make-up 'for men only'. High heels are being given a last test run; for agility, for speed. You know those drag races have super slippery tracks. I have been busy. Hardly a minute of rest which is why I like to relax watching BLAKE GRIFFIN. Is it me or does he have one of the best shaped faces in the world? THE WORLD. He's like 12 feet tall and amazingly well proportioned for that height. I can watch him for hours. Talk, talk, talk, play,play, play and then talk some more. His face is just . . . I am just left speachless at times. There is nothing abnormal about my extreme admiration for his face because I never really think about him. I don't watch a lot of sports, so yea. He then, however, makes an appearance on a television show or is on the cover of a magazine; then I do the double-take 'zoinks!!' IS THAT BLAKE GRIFFIN??- knowing full well it's BLAKE GRIFFIN. How is it that people don't all agree that his face is a work of art. Masculine, yet, smooth and soft (I feel the same way about 'THE ROCK' JOHNSON -what up DEWAYNE? - when is the next movie?) Statuesque. His face! his face is apparrantly designed by the greatest of engineers. It is composed of long solid planes softened by the curves of his cheeks. It is almost horse-like (inagoodway). It's so fucking unique (inagoodway).All I am going to say is: AMAZING. We'll leave it at that. Enough about that,( whew! did it get hot in here or what? -darn!) chupa chups!! What is happening? I finally got around to posting a suggestion for DRESS-UP-ELECTION 2014. Anybody going goth? How about Chalupa-Batman chic? ebola paranoia craze? Oh yea get as creative as you wanna to be. Did I mention that I went to a destination wedding of a friend, this weekend? I don't think I mentioned that the destination of the wedding was in the city of BELL, California. Now the destination is not far enough to qualify as a destination wedding per se, like say Hawaii or Italy. Gasoline being what it is, however ($$$), and The City of Bell being what it is (mayor, city council etc. being involved in the biggest money scandal of any city this century), let me just say that it felt like a destination wedding. Oh the places you will go. I had not been back in that neighborhood since raving all night was in vogue (all night for Bell being 2:00am o-O), and all we cared about was finding a particular 'secret' warehouse (the thumping dance music, throngs of people and strobe lights were sooo helpful to us and police ). I am sorry if I made it seem like I was leaving the country. That is one of the great things about LA, it is so big and sprawling you never really know when you are leaving one state of mind and one type of party to partake in the next. CALIFORNIA-manwasIdrunk!

What up, what up, what is up? Have I told you guys I can barely contain myself because finally Halloween is on a weekend and we have an election coming next week? It's all true I can hardly wait. This time of year id incredible, if allowed. I have dressed up in the recent past as Freddy Krueger from NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. Punky-PUNKY BREWSTER, and you guys know about my fascination with making anything be sexy-costume-fodder (anything- legal pad, pencil, a bunch of paperclips, so kewl)This year I am going to be something easy-peasy and cool. You want to know what, don't you? woooah! what is up my chiquitos bonitos! long time no speak! I hope your week is going just too good to be true (but true as long as you want it to be). Mine is going good not getting as much done as I'd like. That is what happens when you attend a friends' wedding. I had conveniently forgotten, it seems, the fallout and aftermath of such an event is felt for quite some time. It's Tuesday and things are still being revealed to me. I asked myself about everything that has gone wrong with all my previous relations (all before the ceremony is half through, that is the kind of event it turned into). I make it sound terrible, terrible, don't I? It was not. The opposite is true, but it was so intense. Like I said things are still coming to light about me, about the type of relations I seek out, my expectations, oh brother.I am, SO EXCITED. It is that time of year; everything comes fast and plenty! Are you guys ready??? Have you guys given any more thought to the idea of DRESS -UP THEME ELECTION 2014? Since Halloween is coming you may be able to combine the two. Think about it it, sounds pretty cooooOOol. I am working on getting my costume complete. Ohh yeaaa. I apparently got the weekends mixed up and showed up to a wedding dressed up as Ace Frehly from KISS (because neveragainGeneSimons). I don' think anybody noticed, I'm pretty sure. I just played it cool and low key; hangin' out by the chicken wings (so good) and tamales (amahziiing) platter. Just kidding, I didn't play it low key, I air-guitared my way through every pause in ceremony. No I didn't. I dressed very well and caught the eye of more than one single lady, I found out later. But not one of the guys that caught my eye (by the drinks, you know who you are, skinny-jean-guy and guy that was dressed like a fitted sausage casing- I know, right? damn!) and on one occasion "accidentally" dropped my tamale near his seat and retrieved it provacatively- I know, I know, got back to me. C'est la vie, right? there's always a next wedding. How was your guys weekend? manwasIdrunk.

No luck with this one microphone, good thing is I've got nothing but time. Good intentions and time. I will return this one and get an identical one in return..Hopefully one that is equiped to handle all this talent ( talent in this case is based on number of days that I sing along to all my favorite tunes-everyday!). So now we wait. In the meantime, I am sifting through my enormous walk-in closet thinking hard about what I want to wear to midterm election day. I want it to be more serious looking than a presedential election, which is way more celebratory and sporty in that it is a competition. No mistaking that aspect. I am thinking about doing the goth approach and appearing somber and Peter Murphy dressy. Not the preffered LosAngeles goth of Daniel Ash, which might be fun because it necessitates a spiky fright wig and CHOLA eyebrows (probably why this is popular). That is too much work, though, and somehow appears to be less formal, serious. Is that just me? I have a couple of other ideas I'm tossing about in my noggin. So what is up my punkin (not pumkin) spice chimichongas? How are things in your neck of the woods? I hope all is better than "just swell". I hope all is superb. If all is not superb I hope you are en route. Have you guys given any thought to the idea of having this midterm election be a themed election? The theme being dress-up? Now you can dress up in any specific theme you and your group of friends and bros want. It would just be different from everyday workclothes and/or shorts and flipflops (those of you that insist on traipsing around town in shower sandals and »sports socks« like some kinda Kim Kardashian- she wears that, right?). I mean real dress up, like a Star Wars theme. It could be leftovers from Halloween; "the sexy pencil"(me last year), or "sexy piece of legal sized paper" ( me this year o-O). You guys can pick any theme, so long as you dress up. It could be fun. Think about it. I will post suggestions as they come to me (oh brother! better watch out I'm always thinking them up). My Dear chalupa stuffed taquitos, how goes it, today? I guess you've gathered (correctly) that the next level to my vocalist and dancer career did not go as planned...yet. I'm waiting to see if my microphone can be connected properly to my 'starmaker' mini-studio (aka my computer). I will reinstall drivers and software, and hopefully get to singing my vocal scales around the apt. Then the work really begins, the road to a wonderfull career in fame and quirky videos. In the meantime I have begun to lay down some seriously sick tracks. Some fancy dancey bouncy numbers and my signature heartfelt ballads. Okay I haven't actually laid anything down, but I will soon. Also, I hope to find a virtuoso with a guitar like modern day Morrissey/Marr to create some socially impacting pop. I gues if things don't gel in that vein I could settle for creating some ambiguous sweet glamrock like Butler/ Anderson from suede(londonsuede). Oh hell I would settle for the sound that one generic bald guy from American Idle has. I cannot remember his name but I know he named his band after himself. And I forgot them both. Dalton?Have no fear, I am going on. I continue to work on creating a unique sound that embodies and represents me and my many moods. The don't call me moody mindy for nothing. Actually I thing people called me something much worse, but that was a long time ago, and I forgot all about it until now, whatevs. The show must go on. I can barely wait. 'Sup? 'sup? What izz uuupp?!?!? how are you all doing? Did you get scared when I didn't post anything night before last, my chiquitos taquitos? Did you think "well all his complaining about the metro and minimum wage finally got him shut down"? Not to worry, while I still have internet (spotty and unreliable, I might add) connection I will continue to post unless I outright specify I'M DONE. Which I would only do to focus on my singing and dancing, full time. If I do cease to post without warning, then perhaps you might notify the BLOGGER admin. to reinstate my account please. I have managed to order a microphone to further my career in the music biz out here in LALA, beyond my usual 'special guest backing vocals' to my favorite cds. This microphone or mic (as we in the misic biz call it, pronounced Mike o-O), is to be plugged into a computer. The drivers on any device being plugged into a computer via usb connection need to be recognized or downloaded and installed in order for device to operate properly. That is what I spent an evening trying to achieve. I finally found, downloaded and installed drivers for microphone, only to not have it work. After several attempts and troubleshooting a while. I went to bed, hoping a clear head would renew me motivation and I would start again, because I am no quitter. Okay, I may have been a quitter before sometimes (...most times), but that is not me anymore. I will not be that way again. I do not follow that work ethic any longer. I follow a task to completion when nobody else cares whether I finish or not. So I woke up refreshed and turned on my computer only to find I had no internet connection. I could no longer troubleshoot at will. I was stuck and I was running the rest of the day to and from work. I got home finally only to confirm that something was really wrong with my connection, nothing was being recognized, no ports, or internet connection drivers. That is how I came to have no internet for yesterday. I got home yesterday and proceeded to uninstall my heart out and re-install only the programs I recognized. I turned my computer off and then only awhole day had gone by, but I had connection!!
