It's a long weekend in The US, and especially in SoCali, which houses Los Angeles county and the city of Los Angeles (the city, along with many, many other cities, including the NoHo is part of Los Angeles County).
Well, It appears that unemployment is finally down here and for some reason it doesn't feel that way. It just doesn't. I continue to look forward to getting a better and better job, that is just the way I see myself (and all of you guys, as well, btw). I see out future getting smarter and better, that's just the truth. I see us affording better things like organic foods, free of additives and preservatives. Wow, imagine that...'Cause that stuff can be expensive on minimum wage. Let's get more for our work!WHOOHOOO
What is going on, fellas??? I hope life is being more than fair with you all. I hope life plays a fair game this time and it allows you to win more than a few hands in this game. I hope you win. I hope you feel like a winner, and are happy winning, and hold on to that sense of winning. May you always feel like a winner. I would like to take this opportunity to just give thanks for this day. This chance to change anything I don't agree with and am able to change. I would like to be thankful for this beautiful weather that has graced us, this weather that has been anything but constant. It has been like that box of chocolates that we all love sooo much. One day is dry and blindingly hot, next is humid and overcast. Every day has been amazing. Today, at this very moment you may be reading this, is no exception. Take a breather, relax even if you've been forced to relax through unemployment or other social or physical malady. I would like to take today to be thankful for how beautiful my life is. People come and go, friends come and go, life just keeps going on and if you're not careful you can make mistakes and bad choices that can easily make life harder than it has to be. Life just keeps going, so I would like to be thankful to my ability to make fair choices. I daily make choices to keep people in my life, by actively thinking about them and wanting them in my life. The opposite is also true but it takes less effort. I don't think about the things I don't want in my life, by filling my thoughts with people and things that are good for me and I want in my life. Won't think much about the negative, easy enough, right? We are constantly faced by choices, active...and not. I give myself credit for trying to make my life better, and not just wishing it to be. I would like to take today as an opportunity to wish you all a wonderful day, and a miraculous week. I have got some things this week that I have to concentrate on. I have been running myself ragged with work schedule being all over the place and adjusting to it. This is the week to slow down and focus. I gotta give myself credit for just being a kewl guy and not be so hard on myself. I don't give myself a break sometimes, that's just what I do. I want more and more to be accomplished and when I fall short I blame myself for not doing enough, not being enough. That is just not true. I am enough. So I will take time this week and focus on giving me credit, I will take it easy on myself and cut myself some slack. I will get things done soon enough, and I should appreciate all the goods things in my life, all the good people I have surrounded myself with. The weekend is here!!! I am a little tired because of my work schedule being soo random this week. Fellas, being honest and vulnerable, I feel I should thank my lucky stars at this point in the year, OUT LOUD. I don't think I have made it a point recently to acknowledge just how thankful I am for all the blessings in my life now, and those that are in my future. Make no mistake though, I am indeed very thankful. I appreciate those loved ones in my life, the ones that care for me. I do not take them for granted (you all know who you are). I understand that there are so so many people in need all over this world at this very moment, and my heart goes out to them. I make a big wish for fortunes, safety and well being to those in need. Now let's work at making this world a better place, ya dig?
