            GETTING ON WITH IT.


IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE SLEEPING. TOSSING AND TURNING, WORRYING ABOUT SOMETHING OR OTHER CONSTANTLY. YOU MAY SUFFER FROM ANXIETY, EASILY TREATED BY A DOCTOR. OR, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT WORKED FOR ME. GET A SMALL BLANK NOTE PAD THAT YOU CAN KEEP NEAR YOUR BED AND IN YOUR POCKET. AND WHENEVER A WORRYING THOUGHT COMES INTO YOUR MIND, LET'S SAY: CAR TROUBLE, THEN GET YOUR NOTEPAD OUT AND START KEEPING TRACK OF THE THOUGHTS THAT ARE REPEATEDLY RUNNING IN YOUR HEAD. GET THEM OUT OF YOUR HEAD ONTO A PAPER PAD, IT'S MORE ACCESSIBLE THAN TURNING ON YOUR COMPUTER OR PHONE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT OR ON THE BUS,TO SORT OUT THESE THOUGHTS AND SEE IF THERE IS A SOLUTION TO ANY OF THESE TROUBLING THOUGHTS. FOR INSTANCE:  IS THERE MONEY TO FIX THE CAR?-NO. WELL THEN YOU EITHER HAVE TO TAKE THE BUS OR BIKE IT TO WORK, UNTIL YOU CAN AFFORD IT. UNLESS YOU CAN BORROW THE MONEY FROM SOMEONE, CAN YOU BORROW THE MONEY?-YES. PROBLEM SOLVED. IS THE ANSWER NO? THEN BACK TO RIDING THE BUS. EITHER WAY THERE IS NO MORE TO DO AND WORRYING IS NOT HELPING. PROBLEM SOLVED. NOW PUT IT DOWN ON PAPER AND FORGET ABOUT IT, SOLUTION AND ALL, SO YOU CAN SEE THE PROBLEM AND THE SOLUTION ON PAPER, YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU CAN DO FOR THE TIME BEING. NOW YOU CAN GET SOME SLEEP. NO MORE QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT IF OR MAYBE. DONE. FORGET ABOUT IT. YOU DID YOUR WORK. TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY. WE'LL TACKLE IT AGAIN WITH RENEWED VIGOR. AGAIN IF THIS ISSUE WITH SLEEPLESSNESS OR ANXIETY IS TROUBLING YOU TO THE POINT WHERE IT IS INTERFERING WITH YOUR SLEEP A DOCTOR CAN EASILY FIX THESE ISSUES NOW. SO DON'T BE SCARED AND GET SOME SLEEP. SO IMPORTANT.
